Firefox 21.0 not loading all images on some shopping sites

Some websites (Gap.com, Macys.com) will not load all images on the page; i.e., they stop loading after a certain number on the screen. However, when I load these sites in IE 10 and select the same categories / number of images to view, they all show up immediately with no issues.

Did you modify any network.http prefs?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.

I have not modified any preferences.

When I opened the FF Web Developer Error Console, I got an element error when loading the page with a lot of pictures on it (gap.com). I have attached a screen shot for reference. Would this help resolve the issue?

Try reloading the web page. Just like the USPS, sometimes the internet looses things.

I have already tried to reload the page. It does not solve the problem.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
