Cookies not visible in Cookies View/Edit window. Only see triangles at edge of view window where cookies normally appear. Cookies.sqlite size is 512kb.

Firefox 9.0 beta channel, Win Vista, AVG Security. Cookies.sqlite is 512kb. Unable to see any cookies using via the Options menu or using add-on Cookie editor.

This can happen if that window is too small.
Try to resize that window to make it larger (not sure if you can do that on Windows).

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
