I have Google set as my search engine, but when I type direct on the address bar, the search engine defaults to Yahoo. I would like to delete Yahoo and have Google as the default. I can not find the tool setting for doing this. Any help would be very much appreciated.

To define Google as your default search engine, move it up so that it becomes the first one in the search engine list. For more details, read Search bar - add, change and manage search engines on Firefox.

hI scoobidive - your reply didn't help. I have moved Google to top of my default search engine list (top right) but still if I type something direct into the address bar it goes via Yahoo. and I want Google.

any ideas? thanks
