Hi, click the menu button (stack of 3 lines) at the right end of the main toolbar. You should find Settings on the drop-down list.
Alternately, press Alt+T to drop down the Tools menu from the hidden top menu bar. You should find Settings on the drop-down list.

Note that you can also open about:preferences in a tab.
