When the first character is type into the web search box on the default Firefox homepage, the cursor jumps to the address box and opens the search suggestions. Was this changed intended or is it a bug? This change in behavior renders the web search useless.

I tried the usual debug steps, disabling add-ons, turning option off and on, with no change in behavior.
