Firefox wont launch after Catalina 10.15.6 update
Firefox Version 79.0 OS: MacOS Catalina 10.15.6 Crash ID: bp-2f217397-5062-4f92-8cff-5e5770200823
Symptom: After updating Catalina to 10.15.6, Firefox fails to launch, crashes launches crash reporter, then closes. Clicking restart results in same behavior.
I also seem to be unable to launch Firefox with the --safe-mode flags.
Please advise.

If you're having a similar issue, you can go into
/Users/luisvalencia/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/[your profile]/
I edited the extensions.js to remove the extension named in the crash report
then went into the extension/ folder and removed the corresponding .xpi after-which I was able to launch
