Persona's will not stay set in version57.04 why not. It changes to None witheach new tab

version 57.0.4 64bit. With the last few updates the persona's will not stay active. Each new tab causes switch to plain (no persona) as does each new session. I do not like the new look and would like to find solution to this problem as it appears very stark and is hard to differentiate between inactive tabs.(So apparently the color tabs also is not functioning) I have check and the addons (themes etc.)are enabled.

I found that the extension "colorful tabs" conflicts with personas in this version (57.0 and later)removing colorful tabs solves persona problem but there does not appear to be a colorful tabs update that works.
