i need to know if the sites visited in the folders arranged in the browser history are truly in correct chronological order. Can a site visited months ago show up in the folder viewed "last month"?

Only if they have been revisited recently.
Firefox only shows the last time a website page has been visited, but stores all visits to a site to be able to calculate the visit count.
