I have a client using firefox. It reads the sec cert on website as having 128 bit encrypt, but the same site indicates it has 256 bit encrp in IE or Chrome??

My client is very concerned with data security, as we all are. He uses Firefox. When he visits my company's website, it says it uses 128 TLS1.0 encryption. (Insufficient) The same site when viewed from IE or Chrome, it indicates 256 bit encryption. Any Ideas?

hi, that will depend on what ssl cypher suites your webserver is offering and in what order. mozilla provides some configuration advice at https://wiki.mozilla.org/Security/Server_Side_TLS
