From Firefox 17, you added official support for ARMv6 devices and my Galaxy Gio is indeed included in the list. Anyway when I go to Google Play it still says my device isn't supported (same with the current version 18.0) and I can't install it. I tried both from the phone and activating the "purchase" from PC. I downloaded the browser from official mozilla servers and installed through miniSD installation, I can confirm it works perfectly. Is it a Google issue? Will it be fixed on the Google store? Thanks.

That's what I did for version 17, but that's not the best way to solve a problem... I'd like to download it directly from Google Play in order to get auto-updates along with all my other apps.

I think you need to update your android

Mmm nope, neither this one. It's said to support Android 2.2 and above, the last official for my phone is Android 2.3.6.

The Gio has 512 MB of storage, according to gsmarena the phone has 278 MB of RAM. Which is below our minimum specs.

Oh that's true! So theorically you should exclude it from the compatibility list ...
