Primary Passwords
I set up a Primary Password, but I can easily get around it by clicking 'cancel' then clicking 'home' icon. then I can get into ANY of the links. For others who have access to my computer NOT having that access is Exactly why I set up Primary password in the first place. Surely there must be a way to fix this???? haas2128@comcast.net Thanks. Primary password secures your passwords. See Use a Primary Password to protect stored logins and passwords.
The Primary Password only encrypts the logins stored in the Password Manager (logins.json file). If you cancel a PP prompt then you merely (re)lock the passwords so they can't auto-fill, it doesn't prevent using Firefox otherwise, so do not get confused.
You would need to put your Firefox profile inside an encrypted container (eg FileVault) if you want to secure it with a password.
