Hello,

I have been using CSS to change the looks in websites for a while. First, I use the 'inspect' function and then permanently make changes using Stylus.

For a month or so, I have not been able to apply certain custom fonts in either using the 'inspect' function or the stylus extension. Afterwards I tried the same on a fresh new install of Firefox Developer edition with no success either.

The problem in question is that I am able to apply custom fonts with names composed of a single word such as "Times" "Arial" or "Georgia", however, using fonts with two or more words such as "Arial Nova" or "Californian FB" does not work. Oddly enough, the system font "Segoe UI" does work, as to why perhaps this bug was not detected in tests.

In short, I am not being able to use custom css fonts with two or more words in any Firefox desktop setting.

Are you using quotes around the names?

Note that Enhanced Tracking Protection can block access to local fonts that are not on a approved list as part of blocking known/suspected fingerprinters, so that could be a reason that you can't use such a font.

You can stop Strict Tracking Protection from blocking fonts by changing privacy.fingerprintingProtection.overrides to -FontVisibilityBaseSystem,-FontVisibilityLangPack in about:config.
