Hi I am running Thunderbird ver 60.6.1 in Windows 10. As of late I cant access my yahoo frontier mail, but my other two accounts work fine. I run Vipre antivirus along with Malwarebtes

I received the following error: Sending of password for user username@frontier.com did not succeed. Mail server pop3.frontier.com responded: [SYS/TEMP] Server error - Please try again later:

I can access Frontier email through their web page fine

I have tried these steps Checked my settings Restarted in safe mode went to options, security and removed the Frontier site to reset the password

Any help appreciated Thanks

Hi I solved my problem by switching over to imap It now seems to be working fine. Pop3 has always worked well until lately

I think I remember something about frontier actually withdrawing their pop service, but I might be just imagining it.
