What the HELL? Two days in a row, Firefox updates by itself, even though the settings EVEN AFTER THE UPDATE still clearly say "Never check for updates". ???
-"Never check for updates" was checked, and still is after the update. -"Use a background service to install the updates" was unchecked, and still is after the update. I saw other similar question, so I'm not the only one with this problem, but no one offers any solution besides checking the settings which I already did before even coming here. I hope people at Mozilla honestly care about its community enough not to force us into updating. In the following days I'll migrate my data to Waterfox. I should have the right to decide wether I wonna update or not on my own. Thanks in advance to anyone who sincerily wants to offer any real solution.

I uninstalled "Mozilla Maintenance Service" and downgraded again. That will hopefully solve it. Thanks for nothing Mozilla.
