Please provide a method to recieve user name and password as input from other applications without using clipboard
I am writing a password manager app, I do not want to copy paste passwords. I would like firefox provide an Android way of receiving, user id and password from other applications. Please define a Mime type for ACTION_SEND for login information by firefox.
I know it is in your best interests not to provide another simple/safe way as you are providing a password manager yourself. Please be open minded on this.
If this is implemented I will also promote (I know it would not even be a spec in the drop for) firefox thru my app for safely entering passwords.

Not sure if anyone else will make a comment. I did leave it a few days before I posted this as you may have been more likely to get an answer if your question is seen to be unanswered.
We do not have developers here. You could try one of the main Mozilla Fora. They have a high volume wishlist, or you may try asking if the request is appropriate and on topic at one of the other sections.
