yes, firefox will manage this automatically and use your ram for some caching - if you have that much ram available, you should probably considering switching to a 64bit version of firefox as well, as it can make use of more of your ram: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

hi minouatviscan, if you'd like to disable caching on your drive, you can do so by entering about:config into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & then search for the preference named browser.cache.disk.enable. double-click it and change its value to false.

but where would it be store afterwards, I have 16 gb of ram, can I tell my computer to use ram for temp ?
