Youtube video's audio stream is doubled. The second audio stream has a 3 second delay. After clicking pause, the second audio stream continues undeterred.

Sounds that you have two players running.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

The problem is the addon AutoPager. They have addressed this problem and it can be resolved by updating to 0.7.1.5 found here
