I went through all three suggestions, still have the problem. Using Windows XP.

Yesterday I tried starting it from the "all programs" path instead of the quick launch button. Didn't work. Restarted the computer and tried from the quick launch button. Didn't work. Just tried it again from the "all programs" path , and now it's working in normal mode again. What the heck?

Well, I'll take it.
