SLES 15.5 QU2 in Mozilla Firefox 115.8.0esr was not supporting window.close() even i added user_pref("dom.allow_scripts_to_close_windows", true); in user.js and prefs.js

Try to add this pref directly in about:config (don't edit files). This pref exists and I'd say it should fix your issue. ChatGPT is lying as usual.
i am able see anther error pop :
firefox already running , but is not reponding to use firefox you must frist close the exiting firefox process , restart your device , or use a different profile
