Hi, Can you please assist in resolving a problem I have with only one desktop short cut, all others work fine. The shortcut in question is for my solar portal https://login.fronius.com when opened all I get is a blank screen with no details in the address bar. If I leave my first attempt open even though it's a blank screen, and make a second attempt to open the short cut it works fine with the web site displayed on the second attempted. I have reinstalled Firefox disabled apps turned of security but still the same problem. This short cut has been replaced as a possible cause. It has worked in the past and will work with other browsers. I run Windows 7 64bit. Cheers Barry

Remove that shortcut and create a new one.

Hi Fred, Many thanks for your reply.

As I first mentioned I had replace the short cut earlier, however it may be the way that I replaced it. What I have done previously was to logon then generate and save a shortcut. Following you advise I saved a new shortcut at the logon screen before entering, as I had done in the past.

This method appears to solve my problem, worth remembering for other logons.

I will see how I go in the next few days and report back and close the inquiry if all is well.
