I am getting tired of sidebars popping up when I do not want them to pop up, especially the bookmarks sidebar. So, how do I get rid of sidebars all together? I do not use them, since I have my nifty menu toolbar that has everything sidebars have but out of the way of my main viewing area until I click on one of them.

So... I do not want the bookmarks sidebar nor ctrl+b to open it. I do not want the history sidebar not ctrl+h to open it. I do not want the synced tabs sidebar.

I can do without the bookmarks and add-on toolbars too. My bookmarks and tools menu items work fantastically!

Thanks in advance... Lady Aleena

I'm not aware of a way to prevent opening the sidebars via their shortcut key, but you can press the same shortcut key another time to close the sidebar (it's a toggle).

In Firefox 52 you may be able to use an extension to remap these shortcut key sequence to something that doesn't have effect, but these extensions will stop working in Firefox 57+.

It would be nice to be able to get rid of the sidebars all together and unneeded toolbars.
