I love that Firefox provides the ability to mute a tab by right-clicking on it and choosing "Mute Tab." I think it would be great if I could also mute notifications on a per-tab basis.

Currently in order to mute notifications, I need to turn them off on a per-site basis by opening Settings - Notifications Preferences and blocking or removing a given site. It would be more convenient if I could disable notifications coming from a specific tab simply by right-clicking on the tab and choosing "Mute Notifications."

Hi,

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.

If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.
