Dear Whomever,

Having finally become thoroughly disgusted with the garbage known as “Firefox Quantum,” I went ahead and installed Firefox Version 49.0.1 a short time before midnight about 45 minutes or so ago.

The first thing that I had to do once 49.0.1 was installed was figure out how to get the “Bookmark Star” to display. I got that squared away, and then when discovering that my “Bookmarks Toolbar” was “blank” figured I had to go through the process of reassigning my “Bookmarks” for both “Toolbar” and “Menu.”

However, when copying and pasting my websites from a list that I maintain to enter in the “Address Bar,” I discovered that my “Bookmarked Sites” were indicated by the blue “Bookmark Star” but not displayed in the “Bookmarks Toolbar.”

I think I will also post this problem in “Mozilla Support,” as I usually receive faster feedback form that venue versus waiting for the almighty Mozilla to respond. In any case, I would be most grateful and appreciative for a reply to this correspondence.

Respectfully Yours,

Gregory P. Falasz

P.S. I also bookmarked this website in the “Menu” list, but it doesn’t display either.

Are you able to add anything to the Bookmarks Toolbar, or does it seem like a dead zone?

If the Bookmarks Toolbar is inoperable, please go into Customize mode and check whether there is still a control called "Bookmarks Toolbar Items" on the bar. If it isn't, see whether you can locate it somewhere else and drag it back to that location. if it's nowhere to be found, use the Restore Defaults button on the bottom of the customize panel.

Now, about your version of Firefox... if you want to get off the stable track, consider the Extended Support Release of Firefox 52. That should not get any Quantum magic until next Summer. https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/organizations/faq/
