You may have already done this, but I recommend making sure your copy of Firefox is up to date. You can see details of how to do this here.

It may be the case that the quiz has been badly coded or there may be sole malicious code at work. I recommend that you have a read of this article that will make sure you are protected.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
