In Firefox versions 39 and before pressing Ctrl-D or clicking on the star opened the bookmarks dialog box. That dialog box opened with the list of folders expanded by default. In Firefox 40 the dialog box opens compacted. This requires additional mouse clicks to locate a bookmarks folder to save a bookmark in. Is there a way to restore the Firefox functionality, perhaps with a configuration setting. With many bookmarks to save to various folders for research projects, the loss of function makes Firefox difficult to use. Note: Using Firefox 40 on Windows 10, but I do not think that matters.
