I need to use a VPN connection for my job. It worked fine in the past with Firefox, but since a while I cannot connect to the VPN anymore. On checking browser compatibility in the web page that manages the VPN connection, I get this message:

"Your browser is incompatible with Network Connect. You must enable Active-X components for full compatibility with Network Connect. To enable Active-X controls in Internet Explorer 6.0, choose Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom Level, and then enable Download signed Active-X controls through the Security Settings dialog box."

It seems Active-X components were available in my Firefox in the past, but no more now. How can I enable them again?

Thank you.

ActiveX is proprietary to IE and Firefox has never supported ActiveX.
