I used to be able to press Enter in the empty Firefox search bar to bring up the (DuckDuckGo) search page and enter my search from there. Don't ask me why I like doing that, but now after the latest Firefox update, 128.0, on my MacBook Air I can't do that anymore. I have to type in the search bar to bring up the search page.

I know it's a small thing but I wonder if it can be put back to the way it used to be.

In the last few days, a transparent rectangular panel is showing up in the upper right hand corner when I open certain websites--Washington Post, The Nation, and Talking Points Memo, and this morning Kanopy and the Zojirushi website. It often covers functions like login and search. I can *see* the buttons, but I can't click them through the transparent panel.

I use a theme which some years ago (after a change in the way Firefox handles dark-mode preferences) changed all UI and websites to use dark-mode. I was able to keep using the theme, and mostly override this behavior by setting:

`layout.css.prefers-color-scheme.content-override = 1`

However, this didn't take for some components, such as the sidebar and bookmark editor window, which still continue to use dark-mode.

Is there any way to completely disable dark-mode everywhere, and still use my preferred theme?

I recently bought a new computer and it imported the bookmarks that I had from my chrome account to Firefox after installing it. I already had a firefox account on my old computer and I signed into the new computer with my firefox account thinking it would make a difference but I am still unable to see my old bookmarks that were on my old firefox. Now the issue is even the firefox on my old computer was also updated with the imported bookmarks from Chrome. Please let me know how to solve this issue and get back my old firefox bookmarks back, please attach screenshots if possible.

Hello, I just got a new macbook air because fluid was spilled on the previous one. The older laptop works but the display is not functioning. So I can't use the migration assistant, which requires responding to screen prompts, which in this case are not visible to me. I also just updated my password. Is there a way to recover this data?

I am having troubles accessing the browser. I get to do endless security check every time I open Firefox for anything. I have to undergo several puzzles "I am not a robot" before any page opens and this happens every time I go on the web. even if I did this a Mn ago am being asked again and not only one puzzle to resolve but sometimes up to 10 in a row. This is so time consuming that I am now considering leaving Firefox to work on other browsers although I always had Firefox as my default browser. Thank you

I would like to have my tabs I use everyday reopen when I turn the browser back on. In settings I have checked the box for "open previous windows & tabs" However, when I reopen the browser the previous tabs are not there and I have to recreate the line-up of my tabs which takes time etc. How do I fix this? I am having a reoccurring problem with the Credit Card auto fill. Until fairly recently, the auto fill feature worked just fine. However, for the past two months, I have been having troubles with it.

Auto fill option show up when a credit card payment form is on the page. I click the card I desire to use (I only have one, so it makes it simple) and no information is populated into the form. I repeat it several times, and nothing happens. I am left having to enter the card info manually.

I know, not a big deal (First world problem), but it is a nuisance for a tool that used to work great.

Hello when i try to translate a word or phrase, doesnt have in list my language, which is Greek. For example i want to translate a word from english to greek and there is no option in menu to choose my language. How can i add my language to this list? Thank you!

I'm running Version 108.0.1 on a mid 2015 Macbook Pro MacOS 12.6.2 Today I went to do a translation using the "to google translate" add-on and noticed it was missing from its place in the context menu. I go to "get more add-ons and re-installed it.

So why was it uninstalled without my consent? What can I do to stop this happening again?

Dear Mozilla team, how can I delete the search bar on the bottom of the page? I want to put information on top of the site, but my query lands in the bottom and I have to put all back again in order to do the search. The search bar appears on the bottom left side of any website. It is very annoying and I don't need it. Even if I want to search for something, it does not give any further information. thanks for your help!

I cant log into x.com. Whether tracking is set to strict or not. I just get the same error. I have tried re-starting my browser and computer. I currently have it set to strict and have it turned off for this site. Why cant I go to this web site?

I'm very satisfied with the Containers. It separates my personal life from my office life.

But when the browser launches, the default page is container-less. I have to open another tab with a specific container to start browsing.

It would be best if the browser lets a user set a default Container per browser: - I'd like to set 'Work' Container as a default for my office PC - I'd like to set 'Privare' Container as a default for my personal PC

I cannot open kp.org on my Mac Mini, so I always have to open Safari just for that one site. How do I get rid of the cookies or whatever the problem is?
