I installed Firefox from windows app store, because it would not install from the Mozilla download. It did install however it will not connect with any web address. Absolutely none, I have tried all the typical solutions and none have worked. I had Firefox for many years. I had to uninstall and do a fresh install. I am on a desktop running Windows 10 Pro X64. Please Help! I hate Chrome, (it is working but, I hate it).

Additional: There are no error messages, just endless spinning arrow in the tab. I had to connect with Support through Chrome because Firefox will not connect with 'Help' in the dropdown menu. I have always used Firefox without 'signing in' with Mozilla, Firefox, Google, or anything and prefer to continue that way. I don't like the 'signing-in' scam; please don't tell me I have to sign-in to use Firefox.

until recently to select multiple messages on the message list pane, I held the CTRL depressed and clicked on the messages I wanted to select. Then could do an operation e.g. DELETE or MOVE on all the selected messages at once. That doesn't work anymore. Only one message can be selected at a time, and gets deselected when another message is selected. The CTRL key has no effect.

I had growing problems ever since updating to Supernova. I updated again to 115.5.2 which didn't help. So I thought, right, start again. I uninstalled Thunderbird and installed 115.9.0. Now I have no folders in the folder pane and no messages. Please see screenshot. I have checked that Thunderbird is using the right profile. I have 1 IMAP email account and 23 POP3 accounts, 19Gb of messages going back many years, all saved for good reasons, mostly business. I can't see any of them, nor incoming messages. Quick question if I may, Can someone confirm that 'local folders' are included in a Backup of my profile? (I am a little unsure of this because I don't understand what local folders are for. Are they just to remove emails from my email service providers site therefore keeping me within storage quotas?) Thanks Chris

Hello, The 'Import' option in Thunderbird only seems to be able to import all emails from Outlook. I wish to import only ONE email at a time. How is that done please? Regards Philip Kelly

Under Account Settings, I went to synchronization&storage, clicked Advanced to be sure the files would be available offline. I exited Thunderbird & used File Explorer to go to my root directory to Profiles. There were 2 files, one with the ext of .default-esr which was a large file. The other with ext of .default which was a very small file. I copied both of these to an external drive. Under Account Settings I went to Copies & Folders & under Message Archives, I didn't know what to choose. I need to know how to copy to the Local Folders of the profile for each email account which is 2, Gmail & Hotmail or Outlook. Thanks.

When I receive an email that has a link FIrefox opens without any of my settings. This also happens with Firefox pop-ups, which indicate I don't hae certain products, such as Web Advisor, even though I do.

I guess he first question is why a new iteration of Firefox is opened when I already have it running.

I am new to Thunderbird and I store my Gmail’s in different storage folders which show up in my Thunderbird menu. How do I move individual emails to different designated storage folders. I do not want to use dragon drop because I might want to do a number of them so how do I simply move an individual email into a storage folder

Prior to ~1 week ago, my process of using Firefox was as follows:

• Open a new tab, search for something, click through a few links

If I couldn't find anything relevant in the first page of results, I'd navigate back to the Firefox Home Page and try another search. I hate going past the first page of results!

However, as of ~1 week ago, I can no longer navigate to the Firefox Home Page - why is this?
