Whenever I try to sign into any Google site whether it is Gmail, Google, Youtube. or even signing into a site with a google account like Pinterest I get sent to the google help page taking about clearing cache & cookies. Even from there when i click sign in it just refreshes the page never actually taking me to the sign in page.

If I configure DoH in Windows 11, Firefox is unable to make any name lookups.

Originally I had DoH configured in Firefox, I wanted to use a Custom provider so I entered the details, and this worked initially.

I then configured the Windows 11 OS itself with the DoH custom provider, and this also worked in other apps, I could also use nslookup to successfully perform name lookups.

However, after configuring DoH in the OS, when I returned to Firefox, I could no longer access any websites. If I reconfigured Firefox to use CloudFlare or NextDNS with DoH, they also would not work. If I disabled DoH in Firefox and used regular DNS, Firefox was still incapable of performing any name lookups and accessing any websites. Only when disabling DoH in the OS did Firefox begin working normally again. I re-enabled my custom DoH in Firefox and it works as long as I do not enable DoH at the OS level.

Is this a bug?

I don't know who at firefox doesn't understand the point of fullscreen, but the address bar continues to pop up when the mouse reaches the top of the screen and there is no setting to turn this off. It is a comically incompetent choice. No, the chrome folder or extensions don't work. Might just switch back to chrome as this is a pattern with firefox's choices.

Whenever i open firefox the tabs just crashes. there is nothing but a blank screen with a tab crash reporter. any tab or anything i try to open just gives a tab crash. the crash report is this: bp-92ae3e9d-16cb-4655-a0df-8ce150240816

I'm running Windows 11 and Firefox 129.0.1 I open Firefox, using no connections to any website, still my Avast blocks connection from 3245.UK "because it is infected with URL:Blacklist" , every few minutes. Any idea???

Intermittently find browser open on its own @ homepage without any action on my part.

When I open a .jpg file, the Firefox web browser window width is too big. I want to change the default window width. Which item in about:config controls this setting and what value should I enter to have a default window width of approximately half the screen size?

So my Question is is there any way to prevent Firefox to change the Profile after Updating. Because i work in IT thats why the Security is a Problem so i cant just leave an older Version on every System. The Problem is the Customer dont want to change it everytime.

In the older Firefox version (92), I could instantly open JNPL files by selecting "Open with Default Use JAVA (TM)". However, in the latest Firefox version 127, while the option is still available, it doesn't instantly open JNPL files. Every time I have to click to open the JNPL file.

Hello. I got a new pc and I am trying to sync my Mozilla account right now but I am not getting a the code to my email so I can not login to the account. The mail in question is *@cock.li that I have all my old data on.

Most tabs that I open now crash. This has been a steadily building problem that now has made the system basically unusable. I did try clearing history, cookies, etc., but that did not help. Even working tabs can crash when I go back to view them. It doesn't matter if it is a saved site, or a brand new one typed in.

I've been using Firefox for years on Windows 10 and earlier, and I just got a new Windows 11 laptop. On the new machine my bookmarks sidebar doesn't persist. I launch Firefox and open it, but when I exit Firefox and launch it again the sidebar is gone. I have to re-open it every time. This is not the behavior I experience on my other machines. Is there a setting in about:config that I need to change?

Just starting up Firefox on my Windows 11 desktop initiates 9 firefox processes - see attached. Is there anyway to reduce the number of processes and the memory they seem to occupy by possibly going into the Windows registry and making changes to any Firefox configuration settings? If I dont get a satisfactory solution I will have to uninstall Firefox and use the default MS Edge which is not my preferred browser choice.

I use Firefox Nightly 131, because it have vertical tabs, but why you still have a empty top bar? can I hide it?What's the difference between that and horizontal tabs? It takes up just as much space.
