Today, a white bar about 1 inch wide is at the top of my screen blocking the tool bar and access to other info. How do i remove it?

I have restarted my computer and closed the browser. Still there.

My screen went black this morning and I couldn't get the screen to reappear. I turned the power off, then waited a minute or two before turning it back on. My usual screen with all the apps was gone and replaced by a generic "windows" screen. I had to re-enter all kinds of information and I'm finally able to see my bookmarks, but all of my documents and pictures stored on my computer are completely gone. Did Mozilla/Firefox perform an update? And if so, how do I get back to my personalized screen - and more importantly my stored documents and pictures?!!

When I try to print and use the "print to pdf" printer, the save button does nothing. I can print to my printer, but I cannot create pdf's. I am using Firefox 129.0 and Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS

I cannot connect to Amazon site, says unusual payment activity, secure connection failed, and the name Stanford Health Care, that I have never heard of and have no connection to them. I need to have this corrected. Please reply. Rosalie Koire, roko8@att.net.

After I've had a window open for between 5 minutes and half an hour, the address bar stops working. I need to open a new window in order for it to work again. I can click on the favorites on the homepage and those work but if I search or input an address into the address bar nothing happens.

My microphone has recently stopped working on Firefox, and Firefox only.

It works in Chrome, Edge, and Opera.

I have tried reinstalling Firefox (and testing the mic with a clean install), reinstalling all of my audio drivers, and even changing the frequency of my Windows sound to a lower one. Nothing has worked.

My laptop is a Lenovo Slim Pro 9i (if it matters) and my microphone is an Intel Smart Array.

I have completely run out of ideas, so anything will help at this point.

I can't get any app from Google to stay open. It's a nightmare. I've restarted several times. Doesn't help. Everyother page is working.

Is this a bug in the latest version?

I get this same message. The page flashes on then crashes and this message appears.

Hello, I am writing to you because there have been some problems with YouTube lately when using Firefox. The video won't buffer more than a few seconds, and sometimes I receive an error message saying, "There was an error. Try refreshing the page or try again later." I tried using Safari on my phone, and it is working just fine, so it looks like it is not my internet connection. I am using uBlock Origin and other add-ons. To troubleshoot, I followed the instructions from one of the engineers of uBlock Origin here: https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uAssets/issues/20586

He recommended reporting it to Firefox in the comments below to another user, but none of it worked for me. Therefore, I am contacting you to see if we can solve this issue. Thank you very much.

If watching any video in full screen, upon restoring Firefox back to "normal view" the entire program changes its position on my monitor. In regular mode (IE; not full screen) the position of the program on the screen - flush with my top and bottom panels - but NOT full screen is unaffected when closing and re-opening Firefox. The change in screen position is only when going from full screen view to non-full screen mode. OS: Ubuntu MATE 22.04.4 LTS 64 bit Firefox Ver: 115.14.0 ESR 64bit

Hi everyone,

I recently updated my macOS to Ventura 13.6.9 along with updating to the newest Firefox Nightly; now whenever I try to launch Firefox, it just hangs and will never load the start page. If I give it about 5-10 minutes, it will eventually load the favorites bar, and then when I click into the address bar to type, it hangs again. If I give it another few minutes, I can type but hitting enter/return, nothing happens.

If I restart my MBP and hold shift to boot into safe mode, Firefox loads perfectly fine with no issues or hangs at all. I'm just not sure what is different that would be causing it to hang when booting into regular mode?

So i'm using the latest Nightly and have for like 4 days this issue, it never happened before and just after one update it started to happen. I already have set gfx.color_management.native_srgb to true. When I open firefox in troubleshoot mode it is working fine, but when it's normal and I disable all addons and extensions and themes - issue remains
