Some time back, for me, both browsers would crash frequently when open at he same time. Then, it stopped, but since I don't use Chrome very often, perhaps the behavior was still the in the right circumstances.

Happened today. I was working in Firefox, and had to open Chrome, and a sort time later Firefox crashed, with a crash message. Wouldn't restart.

After several minutes, I had to go to the Task Manager, to find about 20 Firefox processes still active in the "background processes", with one of them at about 31% cpu. A short time later, Chrome crashed.

Has anyone else seen this?

Something went wrong and I have had problems ever since June 20, 2024. I have tried to delete every facet related to and I cannot get rid of Firefox. I have used ever Uninstall I know available.

After the last update in Firefox and Waterfox I haven't been able to login to Ikariam.com. It was working fine before the updates, Suggestions?

The Back Button does not work at times. When I right click on the Back Button, many previous sites are shown. It would be nice if this was fixed so it works all the time.

Also, at times the Bookmarks Sidebar disappears all on its own. Why is this?

Firefox updated this morning and now I have 3 "recent searches" added into the drop down from the address bar. And my frequently used addresses are now 5, I think it was 6 until today. Also the top 2 lines are search with Amazon and search with Google.

Is there anyway to get rid of the new recent searches, and also the search with Amazon and google? I don't want or need either of these "features", just my most used site addresses.

Make amazon and Google search go away and take the "recent searches" with them.

Please stop sending me notifications of update available! I don't want to see them a few times/day or even once/week! How can I stop receiving those notifications, even after I've updated my firefox???????!!

I want to insert my new IMAP or Pop email box into Outlook. I was already told that this email box@ sophie.johnson@proofreadereditorwriter already exists. I could not get it to show. So I deleted it, and I want to start afresh to install it.

What's with youtube this week? Earlier there were issues with buffering every now and then, which I've read was google to make firefox users change browser to chromium-based one (chromium browsers didn't had buffering problem). But now videos won't even start to play just buffer endlessly. I've read somewhere that youtube changed something on the server side and now third party apps may have problems playing video. I don't have playback issues on vivaldi or chrome but I don't want to switch browser.

I have been using Firefox to join our web conferencing service (Callbridge) for years exactly the same way, but suddenly audio fails to work presumably since a recent Firefox update. (I'm currently running 127.0.2 (64bit) ) The mic in my headset works great in Firefox on other sites including onlinemictest.com. The mic is recognized by Firefox and permission is provided for the site. When I speak, there is an indication that my voice is heard by Firefox, but it is as if the mic is muted...no sound through Firefox even though the mic is not muted. Again, in another tab on a different site, the mic will work.

If I use Microsoft Edge browser with the same setup for Callbridge, everything works fine.

In Firefox it does indicate I have provided mic permission to the site, and the mic is clearly seen and working, but no sound from FF in the web conferences.

I have tried saving mic permission for the site, as well as removing it from Tools...Settings...Privacy & Security...Permissions...Microphone and permitting Mic use each time the site is launched. Page Info settings are all correct with permission to use the mic and speakers and I have tried enabling autoplay for the site.

I believe any Windows or hardware causes can be eliminated since the same setup works in Edge browser. It seems to be just a Firefox issue that has appeared recently when using the Callbridge site.

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I sat down to use PC running MS Win, my Firefox icons no longer opened Firfox. It seems that Firefox was been removed. Problem is, I didn't remove it, no one else has access to this PC. Is MS Win doing this? Any ideas? (Switching to Linux ASAP).
