It's a NIGHTMARE trying to read a web page! control C USED to work but they have messed with it and so it's really non functional as it only shows part of the page and HIDES a lot of it so that scrolling does not work! A real disaster now.

Google has it in for you and Duck Duck Go also, it's obvious a big war is going on and they do things to hinder. so wish you had not SOLD OUT THE MAIL. It is not better. I'd give a lot to go back to just how it used to be! No way am I doing any more updates! And I still get messages from others who say they agree with me.

They keep "updating" the internet but it is to take back the privacy we used to have. So many things don't work nice or right or even safe anymore!

This setting got reset on me last night. Using 127.0.2.

So, I set it to custom, add in a URL, close the settings, re-open the settings and see it is set.

I close my non-pinned tabs and then close the browser.

Upon opening the browser, I am greeted with an empty tab and the Setting has reverted to "Blank Page".

My PC uses Windowss 11 and I'm on Mozilla. My security programs are Malwarebytes Premium, Windows Defender.Security, and Acronis. There is an Extension called, 'Protect My Choices'. Love It! I have it on all my Browsers. It keeps alot of junk off from my PC. In all my other Browsers, in the Extension details it states "Automatically allow access on the following sites:" I just don't move the button over to on, and the Extension keeps all that junk off from my PC. In Firefox, the above statment and the botton is absent, and all that junk is allowed onto Firefox (Yikes!). I went through Mozilla's Help, Troubleshotting, and Search. I haven't been able to find any clue as to how I can get this Extension to work in Firefox. Any assistance in this matter will be greatly appreciated. Latest update (127.0.2) erased all my data. Gone are my bookmarks, passwords, sign-in shortcuts, history, etc. and I'm trying not to panic. Most of my passwords are backed up but my bookmarks are gone as is all my sign-in shortcuts, etc.

I always try to keep updated and never have had a problem with anything other than having to relearn a few new things; but this is a first for me.

I can't remember how but somewhere along the way I got a tip about how to select this context menu search option not to conduct the search with it, but for the search phrase show up in the search field, after which a search could be conducted.

How do I undo this?

Some time back, for me, both browsers would crash frequently when open at he same time. Then, it stopped, but since I don't use Chrome very often, perhaps the behavior was still the in the right circumstances.

Happened today. I was working in Firefox, and had to open Chrome, and a sort time later Firefox crashed, with a crash message. Wouldn't restart.

After several minutes, I had to go to the Task Manager, to find about 20 Firefox processes still active in the "background processes", with one of them at about 31% cpu. A short time later, Chrome crashed.

Has anyone else seen this?

The Back Button does not work at times. When I right click on the Back Button, many previous sites are shown. It would be nice if this was fixed so it works all the time.

Also, at times the Bookmarks Sidebar disappears all on its own. Why is this?

I have seen a few notifications from trading.questrade.com on my Pixel 6a running Android 14 even when I don't have a tab open for the website and I am not logged in. I do have the website in the Settings-> Site permissions -> Exceptions list, but it is very strange that notifications are shown for a website that isn't open in any tab (not in the inactive tabs either). The notification sent does seem to be related to my Questrade accounts. Would anyone have any idea how this could happen. It's a bit concerning.

As of 7/10/2024, I cannot sign in to ATT.com via Firefox. Other web browsers work correctly. The site generates a "902" error (proprietary). In the console, I see a failure to load 2 scripts:

Loading failed for the <script> with source “https://signin.att.com/static/thirdparty/adobe/detm-container-hdr.js”. LrrController:33:2 Loading failed for the <script> with source “https://signin.att.com/static/thirdparty/adobe/detm-container-ftr.js”.

Note that I can click that link in the console and each of those scripts loads. I have tried disabling tracking protection for the site as well as disabling the adblocker.

I have Firefox currently installed on my Windows 10 computer as a backup browser. Normally I don't run it and it isn't the default browser. However, for the past couple of days the Firefox Crash Reporter keeps popping up when I don't even have Firefox running. I can't see anything running in the Task Manager that looks as if it might be related to Firefox. Why on earth does this keep happening?

So, I've switched to Firefox as my main browser (I was using it before, but as a secondary option) and I've spotted this native extension called Pocket.

When I pressed it, I was on YouTube Music already, so it automatically saved that url. Now, the reason of contacting support is more of concern than anything. When I pressed it, a weird message has been attached to it, so I am wondering why, as it is confusing to say the least. I've attached a screenshot with the saves, which also has the weird message and YouTube for comparison next to it.

I'm not sure why I get this message: "This site isn't currently available in the EU", but only on my Windows 11 laptop. I don't get the message on my cell phone; instead it goes right to the website. They both use Mozilla/Firefox. here's an example: "https://mail.yahoo.com/d/folders/1/messages/AN6WxktugKP1Zo6E-gXQSGxZLg4." Connection button shows that the site is secure. I have not cleared the cookies. When I select any one of the subjects in the email which are usually local news items I get this response: "This site isn't currently available in the EU." Here's an example of one of the items: "https://www.audacy.com/wwjnewsradio/news/local/michigan-man-guilty-of-making-threat-of-msu-stage-act-2?utm_source=WWJ-AM&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=WWJ-AM%20NEWSLETTER&utm_content=WWJ%20Daily%20Recurring%20Newsletter&mi_u=1655089&mi_ecmp=WWJ%20Daily%20Recurring%20Newsletter."

The problem is I'm not in the EU and it appears that I might be dealing with a tracker but when I scan the computer there is no evidence of that. Is there something else that might be going on?

Please stop sending me notifications of update available! I don't want to see them a few times/day or even once/week! How can I stop receiving those notifications, even after I've updated my firefox???????!!

I want to insert my new IMAP or Pop email box into Outlook. I was already told that this email box@ sophie.johnson@proofreadereditorwriter already exists. I could not get it to show. So I deleted it, and I want to start afresh to install it.
