Thunderbird in the mail panel shows that the email has an attachment (jpg). When I click on the mail, the attachment icon disappears and instead the body of the mail shows the text content of the jpg file. That is, lots of lines of random characters :) How to fix this because it is impossible to pull the jpg file from the mail?

After getting help from you to delete all Thunderbird data on my old laptop (Many thanks David!) I successfully installed a new copy of the software. I copied all the information that my desktop p.c. uses to collect my emails but the new Thunderbird on my laptop will not accept the server and logon information. "Thunderbird failed to find the settings for your email account" They work without any problems with Thunderbird on my PC. There does not seem to be an option to manually set up the server information. I have tried both POP3 and IMAP but neither work. Any help welcome.

I’m encountering an HTTP 500 Internal Server Error on a custom web application that I’ve been developing. The error occurs intermittently and is not tied to any specific action or user input. I’ve checked the server logs and they show generic error messages without much detail.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

Checked server resource utilization and logs Reviewed application code for potential issues Verified database connections and configurations Despite these efforts, the issue persists. I’m looking for advanced troubleshooting tips or any specific tools that can help diagnose and resolve this issue. Screenshots and log excerpts are attached for further context.

I'm experiencing an issue with Thunderbird that started unexpectedly. Whenever I try to access my email, I get a warning message saying that "The site certificate is not valid for this server. Someone may be trying to impersonate the server. It is not recommended to proceed."

I'm not sure why this error has suddenly appeared, as everything was working fine before. I haven’t made any changes to my email settings or installed new software recently. Has anyone else encountered this issue or knows how to resolve it?

I have "classic" view on Thunderbird. That is, folders on the left, and on the right: Subject list at the top and preview below the list. I have sorted that the most recent mail is last in the list.

For some time now, every time I start Thunderbird I always have to scroll down the subject list to see the latest mail subject: Reason: the preview area covers the list (overlay), it's not separately divided under the list, like it used to be!

I am unable to sync pretty much anything from my computer. Below are the set of actions I did to try to force sync.

  • Turn off Bookmark Sync in computer, press sync, turn Bookmark Sync back on, press sync. Checked my iPhone and still no bookmarks were sync (already pressed “sync” in settings).
  • Log out of my account, delete the app, restart my iPhone, reinstall the app, log in my account, press “sync”, still doesn’t sync my bookmarks.

NOTE: I used another computer, logged into my account, and the bookmarks, password, auto fill in etc all synced to the second computer. Therefore, I suspect that this is the problem with iOS Firefox rather than Firefox server. I have also tried to use cellular data on the above two bullet points to no avail.

Hey 👋🏼

I have an issue with the Facebook 'recent post' feed: Only two posts were displayed in the 'recent post' feed and then a spinning loading symbol is at the bottom - then nothing else is loading on my OnePlus 12 and Google Pixel 6, Firefox version 126.0.

In Microsoft Edge it is working, all posts are loaded correctly, so it seems to be a browser issue.

Does anyone have the same problem? Is there a solution?
