I have Freecorder and it works fine but to use the video part they want me to install Winpcap and I don't know if it will work with Firefox or if it is safe.

WinPcap is a packet capturing program that works down at the Windows level. It allows other software to read everything going in and out of your computer (although if it is sent over a secure HTTPS connection, WinPcap can't be used to decode the encrypted contents). I don't understand why a video recorder would need this type of access to your internet traffic. Seems too intrusive to me.

Great response. Just wanted to say thanks for the response. I was pretty much decided that I wasn't going to do this and this helped me decide. Who needs to open their computer up to that. Thanks again.
