Downloaded FF 8.0.1.exe,extraction failed,file is corrupt

"Publisher could not be verified" "No valid digital signature" "Extraction failed" "File is corrupt" (I have dial-up as up here on the mountain no broadband available Downloading anything takes a loooong time.) Don't know if that has anything to do with this problm

Put Windows Defender off if it is on, disable the antivirus only for this download, and download again from here:

http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html

if the problem still exists you can keep the 3.6.24 version because it is supported.
