I have determined that the monospace fonts on websites do not show up as courier. They show up as a tiny script font and titles or bold words show up as a disney script font. My styles are set to basic page style... I really don't understand because as far as I can tell everything is set correctly. This is really bothersome as I can not read the information.

What is the default font?

Does it help if you set another default font and maybe disable website fonts temporarily as a test?

You can do a check for corrupted fonts and other font issues:

This did not work. I cleaned up my corrupted fonts in font book. I also saw someone else was having this same problem. I have uninstalled and installed Firefox twice. I have cleaned the recent history and chache. I have provided 2 images of one website so you can see what I am seeing. One in Firefox the other in safari. I really hope you can help. I really don't want to switch everything to Safari.

Thanks - Sarah Noble

I changed the default font from Times to Georgia. It worked! Now why is that is my fonts are not corrupted?

You're welcome

It looks that there is a problem with the default Times New Roman font if that helped.

You can do a font test:
