While loading a trusted website (game site for daughter) we've been on for years, now I'm getting a "secure connection failed." How can I get back to the site?

In the middle of playing Animal Jam (a National Geographic game site), the error page "secure connection failed" interrupted play and now we can't get back to that site that we've been on for years. I'm wondering if it has to do with a recent Firefox update, but this website (National Geo) should not be causing any problems for Firefox. How can I get back to that website?? My daughter and I have accounts there that we pay for, so this problem is a big deal to both of us. Please help! We're paying for something that Firefox won't let us use now and I'm going to have to consider switching browsers if this can't be fixed within a day or two.

There is security software like Avast / AVG, Kaspersky, BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connections and send their own certificate.

If none of the above articles help including the one for your error message and you are running one of the Security software listed please go to their Community Forum for a work around.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
