Firefox is sluggish, non responsive, just too much to deal with. I am probably going to remove it from this computer. When I refresh, that clears things up for a very short time. I am not a computer geek and the overabundance of trouble shooting, trouble solving info on the website is just too much for me to wade through. firefox worked fine for quite a long time, but now it has become a real pain to try to use. Won't let me in to Facebook. I just don't need this additional trouble in my life. I have the latest download. I have better things to do with my life than to try to make this thing work.

I understand that after a Firefox Refresh that Firefox is still slow. I am happy to help. Update your extensions and uninstall older versions of them. That should do it. There are two installs of flash as well and could be contributing to the sluggishness. I hope that helps.

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues. You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.

Note: Edge on Win10 does not use ActiveX version but its own Flash.

Flash: Grab the uninstaller from here: Uninstall Flash Player | Windows Uninstall Flash Player | Mac

Then reinstall the latest version.

Flash Player Version 19.0.0.185

Note: Windows users must download the “Internet Explorer” and “Plugin-based browsers” installers.
