I recently bought new Dell Inspiron and loaded Thunderbird as I have used elsewhere for very many years The folders are threaded which is usless for the way I work and I want to permanently disable this preferably in one action as I have many folders

Advice how to do this would be appreciated

I am developing a django website.

The login on the default admin page is not working when I am testing locally on my mobile. I assume it is because the connection is http (and not https) in order to protect the users (which is a good thing).

I assumed this is the problem, because on chrome, I got also blocked, but I got this hint.

Therefore following 2 stories:

• As a user, I wish I receive a feedback when something is blocked by the browser, so that I understand what is happening.
• As a developer, I wish I could allow login on whitelisted sites (local websites like 192.* ?), so that I can test my website on android without creating self-signed-certificates.

If my assumptions are wrong (but the server did not receive any call), do you know, how I can visualize the network calls on android?

In Australia, a lot of organisations are forcing native languages upon us. How can I block these words? I do not want to block the website....just the words in Native Languages.

I think this is a new feature that let's you add background wallpaper. I tried it out when I was signed out and it seemed to work. But after I signed in with my Firefox account it doesn't show up.

As the title of the subject entails, I am trying to disable Firefox's new translation tool, becasue I'm using a 3rd party extension.

I tried to follow the solution on the following support thread ( [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1434741#question-reply] ), but it didn't work for me, and I'm still seeing the new translate button.

Is there another way to fix this?

I'm using Firefox 129.0.1 (64bit) for MacOS.

Hi, I'm new here and need some help. I use gmail as an email client and I want to use Thunderbird to save all my emails there. But when I delete them from Gmail, I want them to remain in Thunderbird and not be deleted from there. How to prevent the deletion of messages from Thunderbird using Imap? If I use Pop3, messages from folders or sent ones do not appear, that's why I use Imap, but when I delete messages directly from gmail, I see that they are automatically deleted from Thunderbird as well, how can I prevent this from happening again? La consulta es para el celular,que no encuentro como quitar el modo restringido, aunque ley que hay que entrar en la cuenta Gmail pinchar en mi icono ajustes y modo restringido, yo no lo encuentro. Gracias

It used to be that Firefox would remember where I saved similar files (from the same webpage I assume) in the past and save them to the same directory. That doesn't work anymore and I cannot find any setting for that. Now it always suggests the most recent place I saved to.

I'm doing a major cleanup of old Gmail email messages. I want to quickly find the senders that have the most number of messages.

In Thunderbird, I set the view to All Mail, and then display in Card View. I'm sorting by From, and Grouped By Sort.

This gives me a useful view, but I can not find a way to sort by number of messages (in other words to display the senders in order based on the total number of emails from that sender and show me the number of messages.)

Is there a way to do this in Thunderbird? If not, are there any other tools/email clients that will give me a view like this?

Even if you change the setting of Firefox about:config from "true" to "false", it will automatically change from "false" to "true".

privacy.userContext.enabled 

If you change "privacy.userContext.enabled" from "true to false" and check after restarting Firefox, it will revert to "false to true." It is unclear why it reverts to the original state.

I'm on tb 128 and use roadrunner. I see my emails on spectrum server but can't download them? I was using pop, they said imap is needed.

How can I change the subject prefix (Re:, Fwd:, etc.) ? I would prefer "RE:" to "Re:" for my outgoing mails. "mailnews.localizedRe" handles recognition of incoming subject prefixes, but I found no pref for my outgoing mails. Thank you!

I know it may sound a bit strange, but I would like to know WHY an extension is not allowed in a private window, so I might understand the reason why I'm not able to diagnose an issue I'm having with fucking amazon who has their cart all over the place for a misconfiguration in firefox that either I did or an extension is causing, however I'm unable to figure out which because I can't enable extensions in private windows, where the issue does not happen, so I'm not able to reproduce and isolate the problem.
