Firefox sync does not synchronize live bookmarks

Seems to be related to bug 668607 but not identical. On multiple computers, sync seems to break Live Bookmark RSS by displaying empty folders, even on the original creating computer. In addition, they appear multiple times on each machine's toolbar.

Maybe this bug (shows fixed in Firefox 17, currently on the beta channel):

  • Bug 769527 - Syncing bookmarks between desktop and current mobile build (14) causes bookmarked feeds to turn into empty folders.
