Firefox does not recognize my new HP printer 6700 wireless...
From what I've been able to research...the Firefox firewall seems to be the culprit. Running McAfee security as well in WIndows 7. Have not been able to print wirelessly. It might be the McAfee firewall or the Windows firewall. Just how many firewalls does one need?

Hi! I understand this is a new printer. Does Windows recognize the new printer at all?
First, you should be able to see your new printer if you go to
- Start > Control Panel > Devices and Printers
If it does, make sure Firefox is printing to your new printer and not your old printer.
- Open Firefox
- Ctrl-p
- Make sure the name of the printer is the one assigned to your new printer
Yes the printer is recognized by both windows and firefox...but still no printing. thanks for trying!
