I am a student, who tend to mass download files at once. The annoying part is that after every download, firefox automatically opens up the downloaded file in a new tap. How can I disable automatically open files after download?

What do you have for those files in Settings > General > Files and Applications > Applications?

Hi Terry,

The setting was "Open in Firefox". After setting the action to save file, it no longer pops up anymore. Thank you so much for guiding me to the proper location!
