When I try to sign into Firefox I don’t have the password. To get a new one, Mozilla wants to reset Firefox and trash my data. Is there a way to sign in without a reset?

Hi

If you are trying to sign into Firefox Sync and do not have your password, using the "forgotten password" process will clear data that is currently being synced between devices.

Your data should still remain on your devices that you are syncing between.
