I have just tried in my copy of Firefox for Android Beta and about:config opens just fine. What build number do you have on the About Firefox Beta screen?
The build number is #2015841163
Very weird. Sometimes I am able to access it and other times I get the error seen in the screenshot.
Do you have many other apps open on your device?
What is the make and model of your device?
