Hi, folks. Firefox (87.0) has just started blocking my popups on gmail even though I have an exception for mail.google.com. (I can no longer compose/edit a message in a new window, for example.) - I can't choose to "allow popups for mail.google.com," as that option is grayed out (likely since I already have that exception in place), and if I choose to "show" the window, it isn't functional (just blank). - I tried starting in Firefox Safe Mode (extensions disabled) and have the same trouble. -If I edit my popup blocker settings so that I'm not blocking _any_ popups, this does resolve the problem: gmail functions as it should. But of course I'd prefer to have a popup blocker in place for other sites. I welcome any wisdom. Thanks!

Others have reported the same issue. I can still open the compose window on gmail. Deleting the exception should enable you to again allow popups. This article may help: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/pop-blocker-settings-exceptions-troubleshooting
