I previously backed up my Firefox bookmarks. This file was recorded as bookmark.html. I have installed a new version of windows 10 and therefore Firefox. Now I want to import my bookmark.html file and Firefox library will not do it. Anyone got a solution?

In Import and Backup you selected Import and chose your bookmarks.html file and then nothing seemed to happen?

Check in you All Bookmarks view and check for duplicate named folders, possibly inside the Other Bookmarks folder, maybe even the entire old "directory tree" is in one folder in there. Last time i did this a few months back, i neither got a clearly labeled "imported bookmarks" folder nor a clean merge.

Do you see a rendered HTML page if you open this file in a Firefox tab ?
