Computer opens up on my Facebook homepage. Then, if I open another tab and try to open any other website, nothing happens - I'm on Facebook and that is where I stay. I should add that I have the same symptoms on Microsoft Edge (including as a private page), Firefox as a private page, and Avast Secure Browser.

Spent most of the evening trying to resolve this problem. Finally, out of sheer desperation, decided to run a defrag. Analysis said only 3% fragmented, but ran it anyway. Don't ask me why - but it's al better now!! I sincerely hope no one else runs across this one!!! (He said, patting himself on the back!)
