How do I limit Google search to day, week or month etc. like the other browsers do in Google search. Tools does not have it listed.

Unfortunately, Google has decided not to show Firefox users the "full" mobile experience displayed in the Chrome browser. We know it's intentional because if you reconfigure Firefox to report to websites that it is Chrome, you get the full page.
Without engaging in trickery like that, you can switch from mobile to desktop layout using the link at the bottom of the results page.
