I am looking for a pdf document viewer. I found the google docs viewer https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/google-docs-viewer-pdf-doc-/?src=search and the PDF Search Engine and PDF Viewer Toolbar https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search/?q=pdf+view&appver=50.0&platform=windows

For some reason Firefox was not displaying pdf's. I use Internet Download manager and it was trying to download the file without me being able to see it in Firefox. Even with the auto-download windows, Firefox should have shown the pdf.

I don't want to use Google Docs viewer since I am using Firefox. PDF Search Engine and PDF Viewer Toolbar is a little bit slower and ad's another row underneath the bookmarks bar (less web-page to see). Are there other options? I did a search on the Extentions page but most of the entries are to save or convert web-pages into pdf's. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search/?q=pdf+view&appver=50.0&platform=windows

Firefox for Desktop has a built-in PDF reader. No extension is needed. https://support.mozilla.org/kb/view-pdf-files-firefox

For Acrobat Reader there's a Firefox plugin. However, Acrobat needs constant updating, and plugins are going to be eliminated in the not too distant future.
