This happened about 2 days ago, i installed and started Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. After scan finished and threats(babylon toolbar and other malware, of which many were more or less; closely connected to internet in general) placed in quarantine i closed program. Afterwards, "last time session displaying" problem appeared

"show my windows and tabs from last time" change itself back to "show my home page" automatically every time i restart firefox so session restore don't work, i only get my home page on restart.

I've set the options to be "Show windows and tabs from last time" and in the Privacy setting, I have "Firefox will remember history", also i reset browser.sessionstore* preferences as showed in snapshot below... Still every time firefox restart >>tools/options/general/startup/when firafox starts<< changes back to home page.

What are my options here?...

Also check settings in Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware if you use a version that includes browser protection.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test.

How to fix preferences that won't save

-"Refresh Firefox to fix the problem"

"However, your extensions and themes will be removed and your
preferences will be reset"-undesirable outcome, maybe later.

-no ZenCast, no McAfee Privacy Service, no Norton 360! (I use avast) -"SearchReset add-on"-no need for that, I know how to use

 "about.config" myself.

-"Remove a toolbar that has taken over your..."

 Malwarebytes Anti-Malware did that alredy.

-"User.js file overriding preferences"-self explanatory since:

"If there is no user.js file, these steps won't help you"
 I don't have it.

-also, my installation of firefox isn't

"customized to add a program configuration file that locks
certain preferences or prevents certain changes
from being saved" - because it worked well up till now

-lastly, it is not "any preferences or settings" problem, just this one.

thnx 4 info anyway :)

settings in Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware don't show any browser protection option...
